Unlike conventional timber frame, our unique system eliminates the use of sheathing board on the outer face of the wall panels. This is achieved by diagonal bracing and nail plates to provide racking resistance and rigidity.

Speed and Simplicity

Panels are supplied to site as open frames so the ease of assembly and handling is improved. Our portfolio of ElecoFrame, Ecojoist and ElecoFloor are all specifically designed to reduce construction costs through safer and faster site erection.

Material quality

The compressive strength of the TR26 timber used in ElecoFrame® helps to reduce building settlement within a structure. The timber is some 80% stronger in bending and 20% stronger in compression than the C16 grade timber used in traditional timber frame systems.

Material usage

External and Internal load bearing walls have a finished cross section of 47mm x 97mm. This allows for a more flexible solution to the insulation achieving comparable performance as traditional timber frame with a much smaller wall.
